Dollar Bank's Credit Enhancement Program

Making Home Ownership Easier: For over 150 years, Dollar Bank has been helping families realize their dreams of owning their own home.  It is the bank's goal to make obtaining a mortgage easier by providing customers with information about how credit plays an important role in getting a mortgage application approved.

Credit Obstacles: Some individuals have difficulty qualifying for a mortgage due to inadequate income, insufficient savings for a down payment and/or past and present credit difficulties.  If you've experienced any of these obstacles, Dollar Bank's special Credit Enhancement Program can provide you with the knowledge you'll need to get ready to purchase a home.  Regardless of whether you've been denied a mortgage in the past, Dollar Bank's Creidt Enhancement Program can be beneficial in preparing you for the purchase of a home.

The Program: When you enroll in the Credit Enhancement Program, you'll have a series of confidential one-on-one sessions with a Dollar Bank credit consultant to review employment, credit history and available cash.  After needs are assessed, one or more of the following areas will be addressed to make you a better mortgage candidate.

Pre-Mortgage Areas of Focus:
Restoring damaged credit
Reducing excessive credit
Maintaining good credit
Prioritizing debts
Tips on shopping for a home
Mortgage planning/preparation
Mortgage financing

Time to Apply: Everyone's case is different, and the time it will take to correct your credit situation will depend on an analysis of your individual credit history.  But the time to act is now.  When you complete the Credit Enhancement Program, you will have a better understanding of the mortgage process and be better prepared to qualify for a mortgage.
